The Design Process

  • All projects require a brief, either face to face or via email/skype.
  • All projects are pre-estimated from initial client brief and submitted for approval before commencement.
  • Cost estimates are based on an hourly rate however we prefer to estimate on a project-by-project basis so there are no surprises for clients upon completion.
  • Any additional charges/authors corrections are clearly advised before commencement and submitted for approval.
  • Any price variations and or discounts are approved by Andrew Carraro.

Process - Start to Finish

Carraro Design Management works with clients, to keep their expectations budgets on target. Our usual practice is to pre-estimate all projects so there’s no surprises upon completion. The exception being long-standing clients who require projects be booked in and produced immediately on a do and charge basis – it’s about trust.

Relationships are based on trust and once you’ve worked with us you’ll see we provide enormous value.
Our designers keep detailed timesheets for each project, so we can ensure our estimates remain accurate and can advise when projects are exceeding forecasted budgets.

Estimates include managing the whole project – initial designs and concepts, typesetting, digital artwork, proof-reading, PDF files for review & 3 additional author’s corrections.

We’ve done this for over 15 years, so over that time we’ve learnt how to keep the process simple.

Turnaround

Carraro Design Management understands ‘Deadlines’ and is dedicated to meeting reasonable and achievable turnaround times. We’re fortunate to be able to respond quickly to your needs and are well known for meeting and exceeding client expectations. We do need a little help from you to ensure projects run to expectations and request that a creative brief, content and any required images are supplied before your project can be booked into the studio for production.
